Sarah graduated from Regis University in Denver with her Bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science in 2015 and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2019. Sarah is a Colorado native. She was a gymnast for 15 years where she experienced numerous injuries and had her own experiences with physical therapy. She grew up in the mountains and has always loved the outdoors. Her background in gymnastics made for a natural progression into rock climbing. You could find her rock climbing both indoors and outdoors, with her favorite spots to climb being El Dorado Canyon and Joshua Tree.
Sarah was a former massage therapist for 17 years and ran her own massage business in Boulder, Colorado. Additionally, she coached competitive gymnastics for 17 years in Boulder. Her gymnastics background has also translated into CrossFit, Olympic weightlifting and ultimately carried over well to her approach to physical therapy. Following physical therapy school, she completed an Orthopaedic Residency from Regis University to become a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist in 2022.
Sarah enjoys being outdoors with her dogs and lifting at the gym. She has taken up paddleboarding since moving to Oregon. Ultimately she is a plant lady, with a love for all plants. In the summer you will find her tending to plants outside and throughout the year tending to 100+ plants inside.
